ENIS - a European Network for innovative schools - is celebrating 10 years of existence in 2014 and has therefore organized an anniversary conference in the tourism school Bad Hofgastein. ENIS plays an important role in Austria when it comes to the promotion of ICT in schools and also the use of ICT tools in classrooms. It is therefore an important partner for the BMBF in training and supporting teachers and teacher-trainers.
The invitation to this conference was followed/accepted by 39 teachers and educational stakeholders and therefore a perfect opportunity for the GreeNET project to be presented to a broader audience.
Within this workshop that focused on Austrian GreeNET best practices in environmental education and the use of ICT tools, the first session introduced the aims and the milestones of the GreeNET project and invited teachers in a hands-on session to go through the Austrian best practice examples on the GreeNET inventory and in the second session to discuss the activities of 3 selected best practices in small groups of five people.
