Workshop in Campus FH Burgenland – University of Applied Sciences
The implementation WS/ working group in the GreeNET project took place in the framework of the 3days “elearning Conference Eisenstadt 2014”
The working group was called “GreeNET und Open Discovery Space: "Best Practice Beispiele" zur Umweltbildung unter innovativer Nutzung eines Metaportals” (GreeNET and ODS: Best Practices of environmental education and innovative usage of a metaportal”) and was held on 08.10.2014, 13:00 – 15:30.
The aims of this implementation WS were:
- To present the aims and milestones of the GreeNET project

b. http://greenet.ea.gr/ - To demonstrate the activities carried through so far in Austria (esp. nomination of 5 Best Practice examples and the establishment of an Associated Partners Network) in the frame of this project
- To present participants the Austrian Best Practices of the GreeNET project:
a. Energy Tutors
b. RIO 92+
c. Plastiksackerl-Nein, danke!
d. Gehen geht!
e. Konsumaniac - Introduce the GreeNET community on the ODS portal
- To present additional material of Associated Partners, linked from the Open Discovery Space portal
The 8 participants of this working group were invited to discuss on the presented topics and materials. The idea and the general aims of the GreeNET project were well taken up and considered to be very useful for teachers. Especially some educational material provided by the Austrian Associated Partners Forum Umweltbildung and die umweltberatung were very well received by the participants of this implemenation activity. The workshop ended up with an engaged discussion on benefits and handicaps of the usage of a metaprotal (ODS).
At the end of the workshop „Table 6 questionnaires“ (german version: Feedback zur Evaluierung allgemeiner Veranstaltungen) were handed out to participants.
