The special event took place in the course of the 40th anniversary of the University of Bayreuth. The aim was to inform people about the GreeNET network, its partners, the project’s Best Practices.

For this, a booth was set up where posters with information on GreeNET and its Best Practices were on display. In addition to that, computers were used to allow visitors to explore the GreeNET webpage and its inventory, as well as to use and experience e-learning elements first hand. These included, among others, HOBOS and Energy – Today and Tomorrow.

Another activity offered was the creation of self-made (GreeNET) badges using a badge-making machine. A picture wall was set up where costumes and props were available for visitors to be used for photos.

Personal talks with visitors gave both, the chance to provide further information on GreeNET and its Best Practices for those interested in them, as well as the opportunity to gain additional feedback useful for the validation of the Best Practices.

Feedback data was also gathered by the use of feedback forms. Total number of visitors was approximately 300 people.
